GeoFocus is a South African company owned by Gavin Selfe and Bjorn Havemann, geophysical consultants to the mining and exploration industry. The company was formed in 2016 as a vehicle for their continuing work as well as to take over the operations of Engineering & Exploration Geophysical Services (E&EGS), which was founded by Richard Day and Dirk Stigter in 1994 (both of whom are associates of Geofocus).
This merger allows GeoFocus to provide cost effective solutions across a broad spectrum of industries by combining leading expertise with proven operational capability.
GeoFocus and its owners in their individual capacities have operated worldwide in up to 50 countries. While having a global reach GeoFocus prides itself on its unrivalled African expertise.
